We are in McHappy Time!
It is always an awesome rewarding time being able to help a charity raise funds for those in need, especially Ronald McDonalds House Charities (RMHC).
Did you know, the Wide Bay area is the biggest user of the RMHC services in Australia and being part of an organisation here at Traveston McDonalds, that can donate endlessly is a very impactful thing. If you ask friends or family, I’m sure that someone you know has used RMHC services at some point.
When I required surgery when I was young, myself and my parents used RMHC at Brisbane Royal Children’s Hospital quite frequently. This aided my parents incredibly, both financially and emotionally to be with their son in his time of need. Not to mention the reduced stress of trying to find accommodation, for example.
RMHC is something I personally am very passionate about, something I’ve always strived to support with my time at McDonalds to give back with my time, effort and money.
This is the impact you all can have on a family in need this McHappy Time! Families every day, week, month, year use the services RMHC provide and this is the time we have the opportunity to help out.

We’re proud to be supporting McHappy Day on Saturday 18th November 2023.
McHappy Day raises funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® to provide much-needed support for families of seriously ill and injured children.
This year we are aiming to raise more than $5 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which equates to over 31,000 days of supporting families with seriously ill and injured children across Australia. One hundred percent of profits from McHappy Day go directly to the charity.
