About McHappy Day®
Since 1991, McHappy Day has been bringing Australians together to raise vital funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMH®).
In 2023, we raised $6.4 million – our biggest year yet. In 2024, we kept the smiles going with Grimace, new merch, and incredible community spirit. And in 2025, McHappy Day is back – ready to spread even more joy and support to families who need it most. McHappy Day is more than a fundraiser – it’s a celebration of community, kindness, and the belief that doing good really does feel good.
Together, Australians have raised over $79 million since McHappy Day began, helping RMHC provide essential Programs like Houses, Family Rooms, Retreats, Hospitality Carts and the Learning Program for families with children who are ill or injured - but with thousands more families needing support each year, McHappy Day donations are more important than ever.

Where does the money go?
Funds go directly to Ronald McDonald House, supporting over 89,717 families each year through Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, Hospitality Carts and the Learning Program.

Yes – you can donate securely on this site.
Can I get merchandise online?
No – Silly Socks ($6.50) and Cool Caps ($9.95) are only available at McDonald’s restaurants while stocks last.
